Before you start
Confirm the reel or post opens in a browser without logging in. Private accounts and expired stories cannot be downloaded through third-party tools.
Step 1 — Copy the link
In the Instagram app, open the reel or post, tap Share, then Copy link. On desktop, copy the URL from the address bar.
Step 2 — Paste and analyze
Open Power Downloader, tap Paste, then Analyze link. Wait until thumbnails appear — carousel posts show multiple items you can select individually.
Step 3 — Download
Choose the files you want, follow the on-screen unlock steps, then add them to your Downloads queue. On mobile, use our FB Insta Downloader app for a streamlined save-to-gallery flow.
Tips for better results
- Use the full instagram.com link, not a shortened redirect when possible.
- Reels with music should download with audio when a progressive MP4 is available.
