Supported link types
Facebook watch pages, facebook.com/share/r/ and share/v/ links, and fb.watch short URLs work when the video is public. Login-only or friends-only videos cannot be analyzed.
Step-by-step
- Copy the video link from the Facebook app or browser.
- Paste it at Power Downloader and tap Analyze link.
- Select the video thumbnail and complete the download steps.
Quality notes
We prefer higher-bitrate progressive MP4 files when Facebook exposes them on the watch page. Some clips are only available in standard definition; that limit comes from the source, not from our tool.
Preview vs download
If analyze fails, you may see an embedded Facebook preview or an "Open in Facebook" button. That lets you watch in-browser while server access is being restored. For file downloads, public links that work without logging in give the best results.
